But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.

But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.
Isaiah 64:8

Sometimes, setting pain down feels impossible.

“You can leave it here” is a message God’s been speaking to me for a long time.  Far too often, it’s much easier to struggle with feeling all too deeply, all at once; because sometimes the wounds continue to bleed and the darkness doesn’t ever seem to lift.

But yet I was reminded that ‘here’ is temporary. That my treasure is stored elsewhere. So in my lowest valley, I discovered how to cast my cares on the One that cares for me.

These images were made, curated and created so that you can too.  Consider them the pages that helped me find my way out.

I pray all the things you could never verbalize, that have weighed you down for far too long, find refuge. In His hands. In your creativity. In the love that surrounds us all.

Your body doesn’t have to be a casket.

You can leave it here.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

John 16:33
